I'm Francisco Macaya

I have worked as a Data Scientist and led data teams in the financial and retail sectors.

My greatest contributions have been solving claims fraud detection, demand forecasting & optimization issues, along with retrieval information issues with LLM.

I am an engineer, with an Artificial Intelligence Master's from PUC & pursuing a Computer Science Master's at Birkbeck.

I have also worked as a tutor in the Data Science Master's at Universidad de Montevideo.
